The Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) is the prime fundraising organization of the school. Every family whose children attend Blessed Sacrament School automatically belongs to the organization. It is therefore, imperative that each family take an active part in every function and fundraiser sponsored by the organization. PTO meetings will be held every first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 P.M. in the Cafeteria.

"TOGETHER PARENTS CAN" PROGRAM

Parents are required to participate in campus activities through services or donations. Each family is expected to fulfill ten (10) hours. In the event ten (10) hours are not accrued per family, a $10.00 fee will be assessed per hour not completed.



ACTIVITIES





  • Parent Meetings (if present, both parents earn 1 hour)

  • Steak Plate Tickets (5 additional tickets for 1 hour)

  • 2 Boxes of chocolates (additional box for 1 hour)

  • Raffle Tickets (5 additional tickets for 1 hour)

  • Adopt-A-Family (1 gift for 1 hour)

  • Food Drive (10 cans for 1 hour)

  • Open House (1 hour)

  • Classroom/Lunch Monitor (1 hour)

  • Family Fun Night (donating items for 1 hour)

  • Safe Environment Training (1 hour)

  • Timely return of PTO raffle stubs and money (by deadline for 1 hour)

  • Other: ex. parade alethea (hours worked)

All hours must be completed by the due date set by front office. A reward system will be in place. For every hour of service over the required ten, a raffle ticket will be given. At the last PTO meeting of the year, a raffle will be held.

Hours may be accrued by parents and legal guardian, only



PRIZES INCLUDE



For one returning student for the ensuing academic school year.

  1. First prize: book fee

  2. Second prize: one (1) month's tuition

  3. Third prize: registration fee
